The Southern Village Homeowners Association Parking Lot Committee would like to hear from you about the proposed changes to our Village Center. Please consider attending one, or both, of the upcoming meetings scheduled for Monday, December 15th and Monday, January 12th. Specific details are in the below attachment.

On Sunday afternoon, December 14th, the Fifth Annual Southern Village Holiday 5K and Family Fun Run will be held beginning at 2:00 PM. For the safety of the runners and walkers, it will be necessary to restrict traffic on the streets where the race takes place.

The Parking Lot Committee established by the SVHOA will be holding an open community meeting this coming Monday, December 15th at 7:00pm in the Ascension Hall of Christ United Methodist Church. The meeting is intended to give the community more information about the proposed development on the parking lot across from Weaver Street Market and inform people about proposed zoning changes, the approval process and how they can make their voices heard.

As a reminder, the next SVHOA Board of Directors Meeting is on Wednesday, January 7, 2009. The meeting is at 7pm at Christ Church. This meeting, as well as all SVHOA meetings, is open to the public. Please consider coming to some or all of the meeting.
