Southern Village HOA

The SVHOA Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 @ 7pm at Southern Village Club (601 Brookgreen Drive).  This meeting & all SVHOA meetings are open to the public.  If you would like to address the Board, please e-mail manager@southernvillage.org.

Also, the AGM (annual meeting) is set for Wednesday, February 17, 2010 @ 7pm at Christ Church.  More details will be posted as they become available.

We will be electing two new directors to the five-person SVHOA board at the association’s annual meeting early in 2010.  Consequently, the Nominating Committee is seeking names of possible candidates.

There are so many holiday events happening this month in & around Southern Village Market Street.  Please consider coming to one or all.  Click on the below for details.

The SVHOA Board of Directors have approved dues for 2010.  Annual dues are $225, which is a $20 decline from 2009.  Alleyway dues have increased to $56 per home, this is a $7 increase from 2009.  All other dues are unchanged.

REMINDER – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19TH

2009 Southern Village Light a Luminary for Ronald McDonald House is Saturday, December 19th.  Please give generously.  We are on our way to reaching this year’s goal of $12,000.  Donations are being collected by Cara Callahan at 404 Highgrove Drive, Chapel Hill, NC  27516.  We need your help!  Our team will meet in the SV clubhouse parking lot at 11:00 a.m. to make and distribute 7,000 luminaries throughout SV in support of sick children and their families.  Candle lighting will begin at 5:00 p.m.  We plan to have food, music and fun.  Bring friends and neighbors.  Questions?  Contact Paul & Maggie at mmraz@nc.rr.com or Scott & Stephanie at stephnilsen@verizon.net.
