Southern Village Neighborhood Watch – Town Hall Meeting
Wednesday, March 28th from 7pm to 9pm at Christ Church’s Ascension Hall.
Southern Village residences are meeting on how we can support a Neighborhood Watch program. Officer Robin Clark will go over what course of action should take place on issues of under age drinking, vandalism and/ or when to call 911.

SVMA Meeting Agendas (2007-03-01)
The 2007 Annual Meeting of the Southern Village Master Association (SVMA) will be held at Harrington Bank at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 16, 2007. SVMA is the umbrella organization for all other homeowners associations within Southern Village. The proposed meeting agenda is now available.

Red Cross Blood Drive March 5th
March is National Red Cross Month and Christ Church in Southern Village is celebrating by hosting a Blood Drive on Monday, March 5th, 2:00-6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. Please help this blood drive be the best ever – be a blood donor. We are looking for at least 70 donors. Sign up for your time slot by calling 969-8820, or send an email to Stacia Cooper at scooper@christmethodist.org.. If you would like to help on the day of the drive but can’t give blood, give us a call – we can use your help.

Additionally, if you would like to receive email updates regarding Southern Village news please sign-up on the website. As of today, 157 persons have signed up to get e-mails alerts. Hopefully this number will grow dramatically in the days and weeks ahead. If you know anyone who would like to visit www.southernvillage.org but not does not have internet access, please mention to them that Harrington Bank has agreed to allow any resident of Southern Village to use, at no charge, their lobby computer during normal business hours.

Two New Directors Elected & Revised Bylaws Approved at 2007 AGM
The 2007 Annual Meeting of the Southern Village Homeowners Association was held at Mary Scroggs Elementary School @ 7:00 pm on Monday, February 5th. Two new Directors to the Board, Dick Lowe & Bill Riggs, were elected by the membership. Additionally, the amended and restated Bylaws of Southern Village Homeowners Association were approved by the membership.
